February 18 Another game Today I started Devil May Cry 4 What a beautiful game. The opening song and movie were great. I don't know how I feel about the game play yet. The camera pisses me off and the jumping feels broken and the upgrading is a little strange feeling, but I have faith. Today I downgraded my GameFly account from 4 games out at a time to 1. I love to game...sometimes to a fault. I have to decide where I'm going to focus, and right now I need to focus on projects. I've been learning VB6 for work and I need to spend more time on that. I think the new project I'm going to pick up is some XNA C# game development. I don't think I want to be a game developer...but gaming seems to be the most interesting place to pick up coding projects. Can you imagine picking up a side project on the internet helping someone build a database or some other boring corporate program? Yeah, gaming is where the motivating projects are. I was lucky enough to score an invite to the XNA party as the GDC this year and I couldn't be more excited. I leave on Wednesday for San Francisco to go to GDC, spend some time in the Bay Area, and help represent the Xbox GamerchiX at one of the wigi events. I'm so excited to go on this trip, and the parties make it even better. February 17 Hello World Welcome to my new blog. I like blogs. I have a few. This will be my new gaming related blog, unless I find somewhere even more exciting. It should work out well. When I write about games on my private blog no one reads what I write there, either. Today I attempted to play Circle of Doom. When I glitched the game about 15 minutes into game play I decided to send it back to gamefly. I entered the first dream world area and began walking around. I attempted to walk up what looked like a path and an invisible wall blocked my passage. I turned my character around and was stuck. WHAT? STUCK? Yep. No matter what I did, I could not get my character to un-stick himself from the 'invisible wall'. ALSO... Did you know that you, too can get your VERY OWN hellokitty (dot) com email address? http://www.hellokittyonline.com/us/index.php?c=about&s=about_gameIntro You're welcome. |
